DV series digital stepper driver

Product Introduction

DV556C is a new type of stepper driver successfully developed according to market demand and development trends. It adopts a new 32-bit motor control dedicated DSP chip, which makes the motor run more smoothly and is not easy to lose steps. Receive input signal pulses, direction, and enable input. When using internal positions, the pulse and direction interfaces can be used for sensor signal input and receive 485 control for operation. Minimizing the heat generation and vibration amplitude of the motor has improved the machining speed and accuracy of mechanical operation. The working voltage is DC20-50V, suitable for various models of two-phase stepper motors with a current of 4.0A (peak 5.6A) or less and an outer diameter of 42-60mm.

Features:

1. It has two motion modes: position mode and speed mode, controlled by the SW4 dial switch;

2. Equipped with 16 equal angle constant moment subdivisions, with a maximum resolution of 40000 steps/revolution;

3. The maximum response frequency can reach 200Kpps;

4.When the step pulse stops for more than 1.5 seconds, the coil current automatically decreases to half of the set current;

5. Optoelectronic isolation signal input/output;

6. The driving current is adjustable from 1.0A/phase to 4.0A/phase in 8 levels;

7. DC power input, voltage range: DC20V~50V;

8. Driver installation size: 118 × twenty-four point three × 75.5mm3, net weight: 0.2Kg.

Current setting:

The operating current of the driver is set by the DIP switches SW1~SW3, and the operating current is the effective output current for operation. Peak current=operating current × 1.4.

Subdivision settings and I/O mode settings:

The subdivision setting and I/O mode setting are controlled by the toggle switch SW4. When SW4=OFF, it is the subdivision setting mode; When SW4=ON, it is in I/O mode. The subdivision and speed are set by the toggle switch SW5~SW8, with a total of 16 levels.

Attention:

1.The input voltage cannot exceed DC50V;

2. In position mode, the default falling edge of the input pulse signal is valid, and the rising and falling edges are adjustable;

3. When the temperature of the drive exceeds 80 degrees, the drive stops working and the fault indicator light ALM lights up. Until the temperature of the drive drops to 50 degrees, the drive needs to be powered on again to resume operation. If overheating protection occurs, please install a heat sink;

4. The overcurrent (load short circuit) fault indicator light ALM is on. Please check the motor wiring and other short circuit faults. After troubleshooting, it is necessary to power on again to restore;

5. No motor fault indicator light ALM is on. Please check the motor wiring. After troubleshooting, power on again to restore.
